A Traditional Thanksgiving with Sanari

Updated: Oct 14, 2021

When you think about Thanksgiving, there are certain things that come to mind immediately. The Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York with the giant balloons is a Thanksgiving staple. The site of characters like Snoopy, Olaf, Smokey the Bear, and Blue’s Clues, as well as great characters from the past like Superman, Bullwinkle, and Donald Duck has always been a source of fun and excitement for children and adults alike.

Thanksgiving tradition also has many radio stations across the country playing Arlo Guthrie’s classic, 18-minute long “Alice’s Restaurant” which includes the line, “Now it all started two Thanksgivings ago, two years ago, on Thanksgiving, When my friend and I went up to visit Alice at the restaurant.” In the song, they talk about having a couple of “Thanksgiving dinners that couldn’t be beat.”

Of course, the Thanksgiving dinner is the part of the holiday that everyone gets excited about. Football a major part of the day as well, but the traditional Thanksgiving dinner is what brings the family together. A traditional Thanksgiving dinner, along with the turkey, includes mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, corn, dinner rolls, and cranberry sauce.

For many people, the side dishes are what makes Thanksgiving what it is. For many, they are willing to skip or cut back on the side dishes to get to the dessert, which is usually a pumpkin or apple pie. Everyone knows that what makes the pie so amazing are the spices that add to the flavor and aroma which fill the home. The spices which create a significant aromatic experience are clove and cinnamon.

Smells and scents are such a great way to bring back the memories of past Thanksgiving holidays. Even though COVID will cause many people not to get together with family, the spirit of Thanksgiving is still with us.

Our Crema Bucca Candle brings everything we love about Thanksgiving. This candle balances the traditional Fall scents of cinnamon, clove, and anise with the brilliant introduction of licorice vanilla.

Whether you are celebrating Thanksgiving with your immediate family, or extending the celebration through video calls, our new and improved Crema Bucca Candle will set the mood. We only use whole essential oils which brings the full benefit of the essential oils. Whole essential oils are why Sanari Candles are often used by people for aromatherapy.

We would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, and a great and safe holiday season.
